Framing 

 The standard recommended framestyle for historical marine art on paper is in a plain, rounded,  40mm gold with black toning.  The print is mounted in an off-white acid-free bevel-cut window mount (matt).  We use 2mm float glass or perspex, hangers and cord. 

Limited edition prints on canvas are framed exactly as you would frame an original oil painting, i.e. stretched onto a wooden stretcher-frame, and put straighr into a wider 60mm gilt frame with a canvas slip:  


 

However, yachting subjects are generally framed in silver:
